Who are Callie Haverda’s parents? Her upbringing detailed

Callie Haverda

Callie Haverda is the star of That ‘90s Show on Netflix. She plays Leia Forman, daughter of Donna Pinciotti and Eric Forman, who visits her grandparents for the summer and bonds with other teenagers at Point Place. Haverda told ATX Today that she’d never seen the original series That 70s Show. She said:

“All of my siblings had seen it and they were pretty big fans of it. So they were like, ‘Oh, yeah, you’re totally like Eric and Donna’s daughter, you’d be perfect for this.’ And then when I read the role myself, I was like, ‘It feels like I’m just reading about myself.’”

Haverda’s parents waited until she was six to let her pursue acting

Callie Haverda was born on 22nd February 2017 to Denise and Tony Haverda in Austin, Texas. Haverda told ATX Today that she was introduced to acting by her siblings’ agent.

She said her parents were wary of her jumping into acting while so young, so they made her wait until she was six. Haverda told Texas Lifestyle Magazine:

“I actually wasn’t allowed to act until I was old enough to decide for myself this was what I really wanted to do. After working for the first time, I just fell in love with the whole experience, and knew I couldn’t stop!”

She was homeschooled by her parents, allowing her to grow her acting career. She attended high school for one year before booking her role in the Netflix series. Haverda told ATX Today that the first people she informed about the booking were her parents:

“My mom was driving home from work, and she pulled into the driveway right as I got home, and my dad opened the door, and I was bawling my eyes out. We all just kind of fell down on the ground in our front yard, and sat there for like, an hour.”
