The actor told Out Magazine that he enjoyed the diversity on the set of Queen Charlotte. Corey said:

“It’s just an absolute joy. I think it’s probably what, alongside doing all the lovely work and trying to make everything truthful and persuasive and powerful and poignant, just being part of an ensemble that is doing representation justice, is probably the thing that I’m most proud about.”

Corey told Harper’s Bazaar that the best part of working on Queen Charlotte was interacting with the crew and cast. “From the crew to the cast, there was so much passion, love, and friendship among everyone,” he said.
