Who is Jason Smith’s wife? The Congressman’s dormant love life

Representative Jason Smith, the youngest chair of the Ways and Means Committee in modern times, disagrees with fellow Republican representative Matt Gaetz’s attempt to oust Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Smith opines that such a move will strengthen Democrats. “It’s an absolute waste of time if he [Gaetz] brings a motion to vacate,” Smith said on FOX Business. 

Jason Smith is not married; he is currently single

Jason Smith is not married or in a relationship. He hasn’t been linked with anyone since he became a public official. 

Smith is not gay. He is not a supporter of the LGBTQ+ movement. After the Supreme Court ruled that same-sex couples have the right to marry, Smith released the following statement (via the Houston Herald):

“As the son of a preacher, I have never wavered in my commitment to the biblical definition of marriage, and in our state, more than a million Missourians voted to define marriage as between one man and one woman. Until today, it was the right of each state to determine how they wished to define marriage.”
