Pedro Pascal has had a fascinating career, from being sidelined in films and television in his earlier years to achieving a leading man status in his 40s. After being a part of successful franchises and series such as Game of Thrones, Narcos, and The Mandalorian, he is currently starring in the HBO drama series The Last of Us.

He manages to lead a very private life despite having a significant fanbase online and has yet to be in the middle of an ‘official’ dating gossip, leading to many speculations that he is gay. Moreover, Pascal has always kept his personal matters away from his public image and never commented on his sexuality.

Pedro Pascal is an advocate for the LGBT+ community but there is no indication that he is gay

As an advocate of the LGBT+ community, Pedro Pascal has openly expressed his support for the community on social media for a long time. He is notably vocal about the discrimination and violence faced by black transwomen in the United States and around the world.

In 2021, he posted a photo of his sister Lux Pascal (who is also an actress) after she came out as transgender, captioning it “my sister, my heart, our Lux” in Spanish. Pascal was an “important part” of her transition journey and helped her during her struggle with identity. Lux said:

“[Pedro] is also an artist and has served as a guide for me. He was one of the first people to gift me the tools that started shaping my identity. [When I came out as trans], he asked me how I felt because I remember he was a little worried.”

Although Pascal has never publicly disclosed any of his relationships, he has been linked to costars and fellow actresses in the past. He reported dated his Law And Order costar Maria Dizzia in the early 90s after they appeared together in an episode of the show.

Pascal and his Game of Thrones costar Lena Headey made headlines for their close behind-the-scenes friendship in 2014 but the dating rumors surrounding them were unfounded. In a Reddit AMA session, he opened up about his friendship with Headey and called her “one of his favorite people”. Headey married actor Marc Menchaca in October 2022.

In 2015, he was rumored to be dating The Mentalist actress Robin Tunney after the pair made multiple red-carpet appearances. However, they only seemed to be friends as Tunney was already engaged to interior designer Nick Marmet at the time.
