Is Wesley Snipes sick? Debunking the rumors about his ill health
Wesley Snipes has come a long way from his glory days starring as Marvel’s superhero Blade in the titular film trilogy. The actor is now 60 years old and has undergone many ups and downs in the public eye, from being convicted of tax evasion to serving its connected three years sentence.
But it was his arrival at the 2022 Oscars that alarmed viewers and fans alike. Snipes’ very apparent and drastic slim frame on the red carpet came as a surprise to many who always viewed him as an action hero. Although he seemed to be in good spirits in his later public appearances, people simply could not shake the feeling that something might be causing the unexpected change in his physique.
Wesley Snipes is not sick despite his weight loss – He has been busy with upcoming projects
In recent times, Wesley Snipes has been the subject of health rumors for his extreme weight loss. It was not long before ominous headlines began popping up online. One of the most persistent stories is that Snipes is battling cancer. Another farfetched tale claims that he is on life support for chronic disease.
But it should be noted that none of the reports surrounding his supposed health issues cite a credible source for the information. Hence, it is safe to conclude that Snipes is in fine health and his weight loss could be attributed to either a change in lifestyle or aging.
Moreover, Snipes has been keeping busy with numerous projects. He just finished filming for his upcoming comedy film Back on the Strip, which he also helped produce. Likewise, he is going to be a part of the 2023 television series Paper Empire.
Snipes also collaborated with PCB Entertainment and Gifted Rebels on a new graphic novel titled The Exiled. The comic, which follows Detective Niles “Roach” Washington on his quest to find a serial killer, was released on February 15, 2023. Snipes even attended the book launch and signed copies for the buyers.
“We are going to have a real good time today. It’s comic book day and The Exiled is at your local shop,” wrote Wesley Snipes in his Instagram post.
