Who was Chad Rosen? His life and career
The next installment of Tessa Young and Hardin Scott’s tumultuous romance plays out in After Ever Happy. In the film, Young and Hardin try to stick together while dealing with personal issues. Tessa grapples with the realization that she may never conceive, while Hardin struggles to accept that Christian Vance is his father.
Judging from the film’s events, Hardin and Tessa are done for good. However, given their relationship’s up-and-down nature, we won’t be surprised if they resolve their issues in the next chapter.
After the film ends, the following message appears: “In loving memory of our kind and courageous ‘After’ family member, Chad Rosen.”
Chad Rosen has worked in the production crew on more than 100 sets
Chad Rosen was the first assistant director of the After films, including After, After We Collided, After We Fell, and After Ever Happy.
After studying film and television production at Loyola Marymount University, Rosen joined the film industry. He worked as a production assistant or an assistant director in over 100 sets. Chad’s credits include Paradise City, The Inspectors, Half Magic, and Battlecreek.
Chad Rosen’s family hasn’t publicized Rosen’s cause of death. Rosen, 52, passed away sometime in 2021.
Director and writer Castille Landon dedicated a lovely tribute to Rosen, revealing he made her comfortable after she joined After’s crew. She wrote:
“He was one of the greats, that rare beacon of light who made everyone around him better off for knowing him. It has taken days to even begin to process this— no words seem adequate to convey what a great loss this is, and to say we will all miss him greatly is an understatement.”
“I love you and cherish your memory, and will hold a place for you in my heart forever. Hope to make you proud, and to be even half the person you were.”
