Who is Cole Sturgis’ wife? The reality star’s love life and family

Cole Sturgis is a new cast member on National Geographic’s Life Below Zero. A descendant of a family of loggers and fishermen who’ve lived in Southeast Alaska for generations, Sturgis knows how to survive in that cold and unforgiving wilderness. In the series, he passes down his skills to his daughters. 

Cole Sturgis is not married; he is in a relationship with Amanda Faggard Baker

Cole Sturgis is unmarried. He is in a relationship with Oregon native Amanda Faggard Baker.

Some outlets claim that Sturgis and Amanda are engaged. However, there’s no evidence to support that allegation. In fact, the relationship looks pretty new: the pair’s first online posts featuring each other appeared in July 2023. 

Sturgis’ Facebook page shows he was in a relationship with another woman (possibly the mother of his kids) as recently as October 2022. Amanda’s Facebook page shows Amanda’s last relationship with a Reno native named Torin James Cassani ended in mid-2021 after she moved away from Reno. “I hope you find whatever it is you seek,” Cassani commented under a Facebook photo of the pair posted by Amanda on 30th June 2021. 

Amanda and Sturgis appear happy, and she seems to be enjoying living in Alaska. She wrote on Facebook that the 2023 Independence Day weekend was the best she’d ever experienced. “This year’s fourth was my best one of all 36 years,” she wrote on 7th July 2023. 

She also seems to have a great relationship with Sturgis’s three daughters. She captioned photos of her Alaskan adventures with the kids: “Alaska is underrated to anyone who’s ever wanted to go… Must be done! Meet the most amazing, most down to earth people who love the outdoors fishing and hunting as much as me!!”
